Ecologically-oriented Counselling and Consulting

Hi, I'm Erika.

A nature loving, deep thinking, creative type who is committed to making therapy and consulting work an inspiring process for each unique client or group.I came to this profession after working for 10+ years in community engagement and sustainability. Within that field, I grew my passion for the wellbeing of individuals, communities, and the natural world.I became a counsellor to help folks make meaning within their unique life circumstances; deepening their connection to themselves and the world around them.

HOLDING COMPLEXITY TOGETHER

Counselling

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. I currently offer virtual, in-person, and nature-based sessions through Your Path Counselling in Victoria, BC. Read more about my approach and experience through the booking link below!

WORRIED ABOUT THE PLANET?

Climate Cafés

Climate cafés are casual circle conversations centered around active listening and the collective processing of climate change and environmental destruction. These reflective spaces emphasize that emotional connection is essential to maintaining activism, rather than only focusing on action or solutions. As a trained Climate Café facilitator, I will cultivate meaningful dialogue within your group to counter isolation emerging from existential challenges.

Disclaimer: Climate Cafes are NOT therapy or counselling. If you are looking for mental health treatment, please get in touch or seek out other resources.

COLLECTIVE TRANSFORMATION, INSPIRED BY THE EARTH

Consulting

Growth and transformation aren't just for the therapy room. My aim is to bridge therapeutic theory of change with community-level engagement in service to collective wellbeing.I'd love to work with your organization or team in a unique, ecologically-inspired process towards your goals and aspirations; informed by current research, climate psychology, systems theory, biomimicry, deep ecology, and experiences in relationship and out on the land.

This practice is situated on the traditional, stolen lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Kosapsum) and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. With humility as an uninvited settler, I aim to honour the ongoing teachings of Indigenous neighbours and all native beings to these lands. I give my thanks to the original and ongoing stewards of this place that I am fortunate to reside on and learn from.
